Mustang Spares & Service is a wholly owned subsidiary of Phil Wickham Automotive Pty Ltd.

Phil Wickham Automotive began trading in October 1970, specialising in dyno tuning and vintage car restoration. We still are, just under a business name, which says it all!

MUSTANG SPARES & SERVICE

Phil Wickham's love of Mustangs began when still an apprentice (working for the foremost Ford mechanic George Swan Jr). In 1967 he serviced and tuned a 1965 GT Fastback. From that day he was hooked on Mustangs, and still is. Phil’s passion of vintage cars was enhanced back in 1976 when Jumbo Goddard (English race car driver, collector and enthusiast) entrusted his stable of rare vintage cars to Phil and his team to look after. Phil’s reputation spread and other clients bought their rare and precious cars to Phil to take care of. The cars that Phil has worked on are scattered around the world. These cars include a Gull Wing Mercedes, Lemans D Type Jag, Works Cooper s, type 35c Grand Prix Buggatti, 3,4.5 and 8 litre WO Bentley’s, Shelby GT500, Boss 302 and K Code Mustang just to name a few.

The company’s first Mustang restoration was a 1969 Mach 1 428CJ candy apple red back in 1984. An amazing car! While repairing and restoring our own and customers' Mustangs, it became obvious that we would have to establish a reliable source of parts for these beauties, so we began importing parts ourselves slowly to start, now to the point where we have an extensive range of parts in stock.

Our workshop over the years has built up expertise unrivalled for knowledge, skill in and dedication to restoring, repairing and tuning Mustangs and all makes of vintage and muscle cars. Our expertise was called on recently by the makers of a big American blockbuster movie to supply Mustang’s and their parts for the film.

Mustang Spares and Service offers a wide range of services. We have air freight shipments regularly and sea freight every 8 weeks of parts and are happy to ship in your special order if not in stock by air or sea or by request.
